Senarios:

  • Church A wants to have greater participation in their church. They like the Groups management system that ChurchBook offers but are uncertain about interacting with other churches. They sign up and opt out of LocalGroups and SuperGroups. They see a significant increase in Group activity. It's so easy to use, members have begun to host their own SmallGroups. They even decide to try a couple LocalGroups.
  • X wants to get more involved with his church, but doesn't know much about its Groups. He looks over the church's Groups, and joins several of them. He is kept updated and slowly starts participating. Eventually, he starts his own SmallGroup and many members join.
  • Y attends SmallGroup Bible Study Z. He has a question about their last get together. He submits his question online to his group and its members discuss the question.
  • Church A doesn't share exactly the same doctrinal views as Church B; however, they do share in a common interest in helping the homeless. They start a homeless LocalGroup and participate together. They share a sense of unity and encourage ByOurLove while maintaining their doctrinal convictions.
  • Pastor X sees another church is sponsoring a Bible translation project. He thinks its a great way for his church to participate in the GC as well. He adds the SuperGroup project to his church's Groups and gets many members to donate. Both churches feel a sense of unity in helping to accelerate the GC.
  • X is from country Z and sees a friend at another church in a SuperGroup that supports a translation project in the Z region. His family would like to be a part of the team. They discuss it with their friend then sign up to donate $Y/month. Some of their other friends also join the project. They all find joy in obeying Christ and working toward the GC together.
  • X is starting a local foster care ministry and is looking for local supporters so she starts a LocalGroup. She quickly receives 9 local churches that are interested in promoting her foster care services at their church.
  • Pastor Z wants to host a trip to Israel, but his church doesn't have enough interested members for the bus tour. They start a LocalGroup, and find 25 more members around town that are interested. Many long term friendships develop during the trip, and the local church community becomes more unified.
  • Member X is interested in offering a Hebrew Bible interpretation SmallGroup, but he only has 1 other member at his local church that is interested. He gets approval from his church to start a LocalGroup and 3 other locals join. The 5 members meet every 2 months and have many discussions online. He starts a SuperGroup that adds 104 members globally, including many top experts in the field. Most of the discussion of the SuperGroup is online, but they meet at a conference once a year.
  • X wants to run a television ad campaign about Christianity, but they cannot fund it alone. They start a Ad Campaign SuperGroup and get thousands of supporters from around the country. Millions of seeds are planting and many come to faith in Christ.
  • X has a national radio ministry promoting workplace evangelism. Many people love the show, but he has trouble raising money due to the technical barriers of parachurch fundraising. He starts a SuperGroup and many people join and participate in their funding.
  • X starts a ByOurLove LocalGroup outreach to show ChristLike love throughout the local community. Many nones witness the love that the local church members have for each other and the community. They want what they have. Many join, learn about the love of Christ, and become believers.
  • X loves both Christ and bucket listing. He wants to create strong fellowship and experiences with other believers. He starts a bucket list LocalGroup. 534 local members join. Together they have many great memories, study the Bible together, and add to a spirit of local Christian unity. Many nones see the love and fun the group has, sign up, hear the Gospel, and eventually accept Christ. The group is so successful, he starts a national bucket list SuperGroup.
